Hospital Playlist

What I saw yesterday was it has only 12 episodes! The characters are five,so fleshing them out should have required more time but we have no complaints. The pace is such that it will end at its own time. Having all the characters to fall in love or tying the knot should not be the ultimate aim. They have a band together with the unbreakable bond that they share, so that is innovative enough. One of them is divorced & the other is married with a child. It leaves only three. Of them the child specialist has an inclination to become a pastor.

The girl is too ambitious & doesn’t look like she will date in a hurry. The cardiothoracic surgeon called ‘Professor’ has recently taken the post of the HOD. Also he is involved with his friend’s sister who is in the army, a Major, So it is nice that we will be having only a glimpse of their lives before ending the show.

Jo Jung-suk in ‘Oh My ghost’ appeared a new face then so I had not seen that show but now I am used to his reactions & can handle his newer shows. With ‘Bong soon’ it was difficult to adjust to a new hero but now it’s ok. He is equally good. In real life, married to Gummy he has a child born on 6 Aug 2020.

Jeon Mi-do has only two tv shows to her credit. ‘Mother’ & ‘Hospital Playlist’ but her ability to go into her groove is phenomenal. She is delicate & yet very strong. It reflects in her work too. She was nominated but did not get the award for this show.

Jung Kyung-ho was in ‘Crash landing on You’ & now in this show he has a very serious role to play.He was Se-ri’s boyfriend in the earlier show & yet was remembered for his role. His role in this show is also different yet memorable.

Yoo Yeon seok as the pedo surgeon is too cute. With his love for all small children he is as lovable as Chilbong( his character in ‘Reply 1994’ which is iconic !)

Kim Dae-myung as the ob-gyn surgeon. He had once proposed to jeon Mi-do but got rejected. None of the other friends have ever tried anything of this sort! They are just friends!

Bringing up the entire hospital environment was not an easy task but the hospital looks so real! One almost feels that as you land in Seoul & see “Yulje medical center” where we will meet all of them!!
