2015 Korean show starring Cha Tae Hyun, Gong Hyo jin, Kim Soo hyun, IU make it worth watching. But that’s all. The story needed some grip. Only 12 episodes & yet it made hard to go through the whole thing. The ratings for a particular show & how the producer is blamed for the poor showing should have been more interesting to watch.
Also the feelings of the lead are not clear till the end. Even when she declares she likes him after 20 years he is not sure! How long do you take to commit yourself? Or else let her go on blind dates & find for herself!
Cindy , the celebrity played by IU to the tee is good. She likes the newbie producer, Kim Soo hyun. But he has his heart set on Gong Hyo-jin , his senior. Now Gong has been with her friend since childhood, Cha Tae hyun. He likes her but is not ready to say so.
I almost thought of ‘Muqaddar ka Sikandar’ where we had a galaxy of stars & a story that highlighted the poor kid, Amitabh! Amjad Khan likes Rekha, who likes Amitabh. But Amitabh likes Rakhi, who likes Vinod Khanna! Vinod Khanna also likes Rakhi & the line stops there. It is a 1978 Hindi movie made with beautiful songs & a story that brings tears to the eyes! The death of Sikander in the end was a real tear jerker!!
Using very good stars here the show isn’t as good as I had imagined.
