A drama which has Chilbong in the lead. A simple plot & very simple people leading a simple life on the Jeju island. As the lead pair comes in their lives they have excitement & entertainment in hordes.
Till the last episode the story continues to unfold but the mystery is shrouded by the present events & that is ok. Because letting go of the past to welcome the present in its true spirit is advisable, profitable. Having a simple message at heart it introduces many characters for a short while.
Yoo Yeon seok has Kang So ra with him. But she comes with an anticipation of having a cafe, which her cousin has short changed her to a dilapidated house which needs total makeover. Go Kyung -pyo as her cousin comes in only for a scene.
Jin Young looks so young as Jung Poong san. In 2016, a year later he rose to fame with ‘Love in the Moonlight’ with Park Bo Gum. He leaves an immense impact.
Kim Sung-oh as the Mayor, a bachelor who wishes that Kang So ra will accept him sometime. I felt specially sorry for him. The things he does & the length he goes out of the way to help her finally all is in vain! But he gets introduced to the sister-in -law who in following him everywhere. That lady surely is on a mission.
Seo Yi-an as Mok Ji-Won, his first love who tries to create trouble but it results in them getting closer. Her last catch is Son ho -jun as Son Joon hee, who makes an appearance in the last episode. So Chilbong has not forgotten his friend from ‘Reply 1994’ after all. There the character of Haitai was colourful & remarkable. All of them in the white shirts at the house warming looked dashing.
The actors made it worth a watch!
