I must have ignored this suggestion for say may be a hundred times! But then the time wasn’t right perhaps. When I started with the first episode it is ..just wonderful! The pace is excellent, story very likable & the cast! In the earlier show if I regretted why Park Seo-joon had so little screen time …Here he is the lead with his twin sister Hwang Jung-eum, always chirpy & lively, but tongue tied when he is around.
In the same year they were brother & sister in one show, “Killme, Heal me” & in their next first love meeting after 15 years. He was fat, chubby & she was pretty & today he is handsome & rich, she is with frizzy hair & not so good looking. It is a strong statement on the general overemphasis on looks. I believe looks are important but the person is more important.
We generally go by the looks, which is so wrong. It causes the not so good looking folks to try & hide. They start trying to blend in the background. The looks alone cannot get work done.The talents,potentials,capability are more important & if good looks it is a bonus!
After ‘My ID is Gangnam Beauty’ I found a very good show with a strong message & beautiful execution. The 50 something episodes become boring. With few episodes,strong story that’s my thing. Maybe patience is wearing thin ,but the very slow take makes it difficult to endure.
With new titles, first the star cast & then the number of episodes matter. Today the choices are many & they need to exercised frugally. With 70-80 shows under my belt I am more than confident about my choices!
