I hit a jackpot with this drama which was in the suggestions but I had not recognised Hyun bin & Han ji min! I was looking at Hyeri’s dramas when this came up & as I saw the star cast I was blown away! I liked Hyeri in ‘Reply 1988’ as the protagonist & wanted to know if that was her only good drama. But here she plays a significant role in Hyun bin’s life it seems. Naturally it’s length is not much when Han Ji min is around.
It is an adaptation of the webtoon by the same name but was not well received because of the inconsistent plot. I have not come till there. With the first episode I found it very interesting.Dr Kang who is treating Seo Jin for his insomnia ( actually his DID or dissociative identity disorder !) knows she can cure him. She wants to try the cure & calls him over when she gets abducted or murdered. Dr Kang is missing. Han Ji Min is the sole witness & is under threat of her life. Someone has began following her.
It was compared with “Kill me, Heal me” which has the split personality again but the story line differs a little. I have seen only a little of the other on You Tube but here the title tells it all.
It broke the records of the lowest showing then. I like a psychological drama with a murder mystery so I am thoroughly enjoying it. Watching a love story or a story with a love triangle is passe. We need more for our grey cells. As we watch our mind tends to analyse the situation & that is what makes it more interesting to put it to test!
