The era, the youth, their fears & fights remain the same all over the world. Especially Asians who have the common thread of ethnicity are more alike. The smart elder sister Bo-ra is disturbed because her boyfriend shared a kiss with her best friend. They tried to comfort her saying it did not mean anything & that they were drunk! I wonder if it was a western drama where the same thing would have been an issue!

The relentless followup by the neighbour next door who has clearly indicated it is his problem & he now cannot go back to being her friend only. But clear about her having a boyfriend & he may not stand a chance. If her situation with her boyfriend did not go downhill as it does, what then? Will the feeling be there as before or that he could never have her get manifested in some other way?

So many mental issues are dealt with! As I always say if I knew I would be marrying you would have been known to me, I would be at peace & the options would have just vapourised. My thoughts are now 30 years old & really outdated. But the mental hassles could have been avoided & so much energy saved!

The neighbours are just like we find or found around us. Today the situation is changed & the bonds are not so tight to fight with every situation. The lack of money, saving for the future were some common factors everyone of us had to look after!

Car was a luxury & changing it to the latest model unheard of. Public transport was the norm & waiting for others happened naturally. Till certain age the gender difference did not matter. As age advanced, the cliques & the gangs became different. But pulling leg or calling’Fatty’ or ‘Ugly’ wasn’t actually that. It was a way of showing love, affection & a form of endearment.

With lots of money & less of sharing have brought in issues unheard of. The base of the mental issues today is the lack of sharing. Being independent is a good thing but not caring about others is a bane to the entire society!
