Why 2? simple. The first I did not find on netflix. It is the story of three friends who have three girlfriends & how they go about it. The three girls are greedy, very down to earth & there is no love of affection as such. May be they only want to show that they are in a relationship. They go on overseas trips, to shop in malls, one of them also makes her boyfriend do every job in the house. He even registers her name on a matrimonial site for her parents but still it is not the right time to tell the parents about their relationship!
The turn of events finds you dumbfounded! How can girls, I mean anyone treat a person like this? Aryan girlfriend even has a best friend Sunny who is staying with her. What more to deteriorate? Not even one relationship is normal! In the end nothing works out & each is shown ringing up their respective moms & wondering how they have managed to love us unconditionally!
I liked the movie. It is a fresh take. There is no rona,dhona & the typical cliche. Not that I liked the girls or the boys…all were too dumb for my taste but the movie makes a good viewing. The soliloquy by Aryan Karthik is good. More than Karthik, kudos to the writer who has covered everything in short.
The cast is almost similar to the first part. Also their next venture ‘Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety’ has Karthik again with Bharucha & Sunny Singh. Another film which is refreshing. The story is different than the run of the mill films.I personally like Bharucha’s choice of films. She is good in ‘Dream girl’ with Ayushman Khurana.He again is one who is doing off beat, good films. I have watched a string of them & each one has been executed perfectly. Good going!
