June has two daughters of her own. She has failed marriages to her credit & now guilt that John has given up his marriage for her. She then looks after him. He gets better. They tour again when he asks her again to marry her, now on stage & she agrees. They have a son together. Based on a real life story June died in 2003 & four months later John died.
The love story remains in the form of their songs.Joaquin Phoenix & Reese Witherspoon in the lead have lived the roles. Their troubles become our troubles. His broken marriage is the only sour point in the entire story.
