Full House

A Korean drama that begins with Song Hye-kyo getting swindled by her friends. They sent her to China & sell her house to raise money for themselves. Her first trip abroad & her first flight journey sitting beside the film heartthrob,Rain.

After historical dramas like ‘The Empress Ki’ & “Goodbye Princess” which I have yet to complete but they are testing my patience with fifty odd episodes. So this came as a breeze of fresh air & I am loving it. The house, Full House, named by her father as he always wished to fill it with love, is bought by a rich man. No surprises here. yes, Rain! But what happens next is. He suddenly announces in a party that he is getting married to Song. It is a move to get back at the rumours & his failed proposal with his childhood sweet heart, Han Eun-jung.

They enter contract marriage. She agrees because she has no where to go. An aspiring writer in search of a producer. She meets Rain’s friend Kim Sung-soo, who gets interested in her. They are meeting to talk on the stories she writes. Now things are going to get more complicated.Not the story but the handling is different. When he goes to meet his friend Rain says he is going to his office but tells her that it was his friend when he returns. The misunderstanding or hiding the truth are not for these two. I found myself tearing up at their innocence! We rarely find people of golden heart.

Money is not the issue, he is very rich & successful. It is decided that she will get the house as alimony after the divorce ie when the contract ends. That naturally is not going to happen . They are destined to live together & yet the pace, the events make it interesting to see what happens next!

I am getting suggestion for ‘Diamond Lover’ & wondered why. It is Rain’s another show! With his hairstyle changed & in a suit I hardly recognised him. So the next show is fixed.
