How many times in life must have been times when we tried to hide our emotions? How many times we felt something but said something or better did something totally different? Most have done this many times! We are just ashamed or not willing to get exposed for feeling it? So many questions have been dealt with here & yet it is made interesting to watch!
Presently my number one hero is the actual number one in the industry- Kim Soo hyun! I had wondered why he is the most loved but now I certainly know why! Seo ye ji in a admirable role. She has a ill father who wishes for her to die. He even tries to strangle her in front of the OK psychiatric staff.
She comes from Seoul to meet Kim who is the caretaker here.Park Kyu young who is already in this hospital makes him come here. She wants to spend time with him. Now two ladies wish to be close to him. But he is busy taking care of his challenged elder brother, Oh Jung se. In ‘When the Camellia blooms’ he was the land lord & had a very smart lawyer wife. He blends easily into any role that he takes.
Kim Mi-kyung made her appearance with being the landlady who has given her place to three gentlemen. Kim soo hyun is with his constant companion his dear friend,Kang ki-doong. He has worked in’ Prison playbook’, King: the eternal monarch’among others.Kim chang as the director has always been by Kim Soo hyun in the “My love from the star”. Their bonding is well known. I have generally found people working in groups. The role may be short or long but they have already worked many times.
Kim Joo-hun as her secretary has a lot of work to clear any misunderstandings. She being the favourite children’s book author is rude & stuffy. Her signing event brings in her rough side. Park jin jo is another employee of Ms Seo Ye ji.The buddy of Park Min Young from ‘Her Private life’ both being die hard fans of the singing idol,One! Also friend of the ‘Bride of the century’ who recognizes her immediately & saves her from playing the piano by dropping a glass of water!
The sudden outburst from him causes her to step back & when her father says,”Die!” she starts walking on foot. Kim Soo watches her from the bus but on reaching home hears of her fight. He borrows his friend’s bike to meet her. She is walking barefoot & is drenched to the skin. He stops his bike & covers her with his coat. The rain, the street light, the faraway lighthouse & two people on the deserted street– a scene right out of a novel!
Then I saw Kwak Dong Yeon! I was not sure atall. Will he do such a small role? IsN’t he a lead actor now? Then I remembered Kim Soo hyun doing a cameo in “Crash Landing on you!” & it was barely one scene! He was also in ‘Hotel Del Luna’ for a cameo before proceeding for his training. But Kwak Dong! I am a big fan of his from ‘Love in Moonlight’. He recently aired his show ‘Never Twice’ which I haven’t watched even once! Then as the episode came to an end they gave a special thanks to him!
He is neglected son of a politician. The other siblings got the warmth & he got something only when he went overboard. He escapes from the hospital & creates a scene at the campaigning site of his father. He snatches the mike & starts singing & dancing. He is clad only in a bathrobe to the embarrassment of his parents. Kim soo hyun realises that he has never had fun like this, never once done what he wishes!
In Marathi or Hindi serials there are cameos but they are usually promotional. The actor suddenly pops up & tells about his/ her upcoming film, exiting promptly.
