The best show I have come across! It is a complete story. It has past life, the backdrop of the war, the writers who believe the pen is mightier than the sword, the romance, the betrayal, friendship,cross dressing, the dismay & the hope! It also has a pace that is very comfortable. The suspense only till it forms in the mind & yet no dull moment.
For many days I have not come across such a show. My number one till date. From the shows that I have been watching for over a year now! My collection of Marathi, Hindi, English till date has been over thousands & yet it did not fail to delight me! I am in the 13th episode so it is to end shortly but the grip is the same!
I have never liked Yoo Ah-in better. He is lucky to be cast in challenging roles & he grobs it with both his hands. In this life with his crew cut he looks the star, idol of the bestsellers & the hair cut he has in his past life is just the style that is befitting. The eastman color background is ideal. That atmosphere of the last, lost era is captured so well!
Im Soo-jung brings in the breeze that she is meant to bring in! Then & now all the men in her life are re incarnated & she again has to choose carefully. Her love for Yoo Ah from then & now of course is more expressive. When their friends are testing how they react to the names with Yoo’s assistant literally holding a mirror & explaining the experiment of Pavlov & the salivating dog was just too much. But the change in his manner from being a stuffy, much adored writer to being a softer,caring person is gradual & adorable.
Awaiting the end & praying for the next season.
