As expected it ends with a high note. Surprising, interesting & endearing. After the long walk in the snow, the Goblin manages to reach her when she is 29. As he has foreseen they go the same hotel in Quebec & has steak with her. They also get married & on a perfect day she meets with an accident. A spur of the moment decision to save the children from day care.
The grim reaper also gets her card as he is watching the accident. she erases all the other names. The Goblin is heart broken, now he has a long way ahead alone. But she promises to come back & also that she will find him ! Taking a leap of 30 years, the Goblin is sitting reading a book by the tomb stones in Quebec when she walks up to him & asks if he knows her. With tears in his eyes he barely nods.
In the finale of ‘King: the eternal monarch’ the villain is taken care of. But now the door is closed. But all the doors are open now. They manage to time travel every week end. The people are at their proper place & their destiny has changed. The time together is cherished & life goes on. I specially liked the closure. Without being too greedy the end came at a proper time. Kudos to the writer who has written both the shows. She has this knack of moving into different cities, worlds, eras effortlessly,seamlessly.
Again the next show on the cards…Descendents of the sun! by the same writer.
