Fly me to the moon

The title smacks of being a sci-fi which it isn’t. The lead are very good in a ridiculous plot. When in love the stars & the moon are promised, it is that type of a story. It is made possible, believable by the lead pair who are ridiculously at ease in a plot that could have just fell flat.

She is convinced that her first marriage will not work & so she has to marry & divorce the guy to have a happy ever after. She sets her sights on schlub jean-yves (Boon) with whom she takes a short trip to Kenya. She marries him in a tribal ceremony & ditches him on reaching the airport.

Then comes the twist, she is feeling low & sorry for him. She tries to succeed in making him sign the divorce papers. In the process realises he is doing everything that she ever wished for.

Some of the sequences are a bit stretched but it gives a good feel overall. Diane Kruger & Dany Boon are in the main lead. To overcome a curse she marries a random stranger. In the end the boyfriend is left wondering what hit him.
