A skiing resort is buzzing with tourist & a new chef is appointed. He is the winner of the contest. It has been shot in Ontario with lot of snow around. The cars moving through a pile of snow on the streets. All the characters wearing heavy leathers, thermals to keep out the frost. It’s christmas time & the trees are lit with lights.
The manager in the resort is Carrie, who had to shut down her own resto at Chicago & is trying to put in her best. Shane (The new chef) & Carrie get along fine. But the boss, Hugh has other plans. He wants to buy a place here & also start a new one at New York. He wants Carrie to go there.
Bonny, Carrie’s friend joins her to drink on the christmas eve when Hugh phones to pick up a file from his table in the office. Both go along with Clive, Bonnie’s boyfriend. The files are explanatory. Carrie finds that she is being used to make the purchase & a parking lot is to be constructed. She confronts Hugh who fires her. Outside she meets Shane who has come to pick her up.
On reaching the place where they are comfortable & the old couple that adores them, the final scenes come up revealing love for each other.
A simple tale with no frills. With the christmas festivities in the center. Happy watching!
