The Heirs

Also called ‘the Inheritors ‘ is a 2013 show. It is too good. I was banking on Min Ho & I wasn’t disappointed. But the real surprise is Kim Woo bin! I can’t say I am his fan but now he is my most liked villain! I started the show with a feeling why has he accepted this role when he is going to be fighting Min ho & not getting anywhere Park shin hye who from the first frame was destined to be with Min ho.

After the 10th episode, things start changing. So many characters but all of them are connected with each other.Kudos to Kim Eun -sook who has written so well! Fantastic.There is no scene or sentence that is unnecessary. Each event has a significance. They go for camping. Min ho decides he will not go but goes there to find Kim woo bin with Park shin hye. As Min ho approaches Kim woo drags her close. She quickly gets free & he admits he did it for Kim Tan ie Min ho to see. This brings them together because he knows he likes her too much & she admits that she had been missing him. Here,Kim woo realises that he is the third wheel & he has never been in this situation & doesn’t know how to handle it.

The photographs capture the moment while they are tying the tent & close ones realise he has fallen for Shin hye. He also wonders so that is how I look at her!

He has issues with Kim Tan but the rejection is too much for him. He is scared due to his mother’s run away. His father a businessman has very little time for him. He meets only to scold him for his aggression & beat him at Judo.Plus he is getting married that is not sitting well with his son. He buys the place for two hours & shin hye barely sits with him. He is confused when he can’t buy what he desires.He tries to broadcast Kim Tan’s secret at school where she reaches first. He only wanted to see her.He had never wanted to divulge the secret. Kim Tan reaches to find the door locked . He is enraged. But Kim Woo’s expression is of total helplessness. He doesn’t wish to hurt her but finds it irritating that she has someone else to save her!

When Rachel says she is outside where Shin hye works, he gets all worked up & rushes on his bike. Rachel follows. He has washed his hair & runs out. Outside he finds he has made a mistake. His changed hairstyle changes his face & his expression. His eyes when he watches Kim Tan leaving the hotel & not seeing him. He follows to find the secret out & Kim Tan standing beside her in front of all the classmates.As promised Kim Tan is a step ahead.

Rachel had made her bring the coffee, ordered the catering service. Kim woo realises it & gives her an earful.When Kim Tan is ordered home by the chairman he gives a lift back to Shin hye. They ride back to her house. She admits she owes him one & goes in. He mutters she doesn’t know what I may ask!

Back in school, she is worried that Kim Tan can’t leave his room. Kim woo asks why is she telling him.He is neither on his side nor hers. Whatever the end I shall remember his look! Also got the answer why he went for this role. It does have many shades. More than Min ho, who has to be himself. Heir to Shinwa in ‘Boys over flowers’ or ‘jekua’ in ‘The Heirs’
