With Kim woo bin the scene is not complete. Another actor who deserves mention is Kang Ha-neul. When I saw him in the first frame he is watching the show down from the rooftop with a lolly pop in his hand! He is amused by the confrontation between Lee Min Ho & Kim Woo Bin. Now whey did he be a part of this show when he has no place in the drama unfolding!
But he bounces back as Min ho’s friend in need & has a story of his own. His demanding parents wish that he should study & be a prosecutor like they are! ( now where did I come across this type of thinking!) Almost all Asians have this tendency to force their children into the field of their own liking! Here, he tries suicide but survives. Misses his interview but influential parent gets it rescheduled.
He runs away from his exam & feels proud. In every serial he has a complication. His love life is never easy. In ‘Moon Lovers..’ he likes IU, but he has to let her go. His family comes first.In ‘When Camillie blooms’ she is a single mother & his mother is against his liking such a lady.In “Twenty’ he is hesitant youth & has to settle for what comes his way. He is together with Woo bin’s girlfriend. In ‘Heirs’ he likes his maths tutor. But she likes Kim Tan’s brother Won. In a party he plans to shock her & kisses Rachel, who is Tan’s girlfriend!
In ‘Like for likes’ he has hearing disability & doesn’t know how to respond to the girl who is fond of him. Kim Joo-hyuk has to help him to over come his hesitation & to go for it.
His thinking gets better as the show, ‘The Heirs’ is progressing. I have almost reached the 18th episode & hope not many surprises for me. But it is a very good show. Not a minute is wasted.
Choi Jin-hyuk as Won has a small role but a significant one. He deals with authority all the firms problem but how he sorts his love life remains to be seen.
Kang min hyuk is a pleasant person with a sweet smile & an adorable girlfriend.His latest work is ‘Hospital ship’ needs to be watched for him alone. Krystal Jung as Bo ra is fantastic as a jealous girlfriend. I have seen her in ‘The bride of the water god”& also in ‘The legend of the blue sea’.
Park hyung sik in the first 10 episodes has barely 3 scenes but later comes as a breath of fresh air! He is so young here. I kept getting back to his well known show..’Strong girl Bong soon”
Kim ji won as Rachel is very neat. She irritates to the point that if she really came she would get a slap for sure. She has portrayed a rich, spoilt girl to the hilt!
Wang ji won in a mini role is eye catching. I had seen her in ‘You are my destiny ‘ & couldn’t forget her face.
Many others who helped to make the show this popular. A must watch . Happy watching!
