A short series that leaves you feeling delighted & looking forward to good things happening in life. Two individuals named Mr Best & Ms Future are trying to make a name for themselves. Mr Best joins a delivery service for money & shares a room with Ms Future. Their timings are such that they do not meet, but have a white board by which they are in touch. Mi Rae & Choi go ie Bang min ha & Seo kang joon have done a very good job. It has only 5 episodes.
She has to give a presentation & needs ideas. Confession… written on the board, he assumes she wants to confess to her boyfriend & gives some ideas. Later he knows she is the room-mate but maintains distance. She also has doubts but he keeps her guessing. He wants to become an idol but has stage fright.
One more tenant on the rooftop is in search of a second chance. Both of them sing together & dance. It gets filmed by Ms Future & she uploads it on the internet. It gets an instant response & both have a chance now. Meanwhile, Ms Future presents her presentation very well & is appreciated. She overhears his conversation while leaving the room & things become clear.
His father meets him & now is okay with his becoming a singer. His manager is a president of a firm & his life is set. All ends well. Without a triangle, without any villains around it makes a lovely watch.
In a short film, ‘Room-mate’ they write & inquire about each other. He comes back in the morning & she leaves for work in the morning. They accidentally pass each other on a railway bridge. Once she goes to work by the same rickshaw he has vacated, but they don’t meet. His friend in the office asks him to take the next step. When he reaches home, he is informed that the girl has left & he has the room for himself. Such stories remain with you for a long time. As in “Pushpak” Kamal Hassan loses the chit on which the name & address, phone no. is written & now he can’t meet her. It leaves that uneasy feeling that doesn’t go away.
The reason I liked this short story because of its sweet content, without going overboard. Continuing with Lee min ho’s story,’King : the eternal monarch’ things are happening now. His sincerity is getting at her & when he says he is going home, she believes. She also starts missing him. Once in the palace he sets things right & sneaks to meet her. Taking advantage of her confusion he asks her to accompany him. They ride Maximus, his white steed & enter the bamboo woods. They reach the Joseon period where the guards await them. A perfect end to the episode. Now again the wait begins for a week to pass by.
The wait is worth it. A week settles all the thoughts & new episode brings in a few fresh happenings. What will happen? How will she be received? all the questions remain till next week! Till then happy viewing!
