A 2016 drama that nobody should miss. Soft, sweet, fluffy, feel good . The three pairs each has a story simple enough to follow easily.Kang Ha Neul, Yoo Ah-in,Kim Joo-hyuk, Lee Mi-yeon, E som, Choi Ji-woo & others complete the cast. Kim Joo runs a small Japanese restaurant & leases an apartment before his wedding from a flight attendant, Choi Ji woo. He gets dumped by his fiance. At the same time Choi learns of rip off & stays in the same apartment.
Kang Ha neul is a regular customer at the restaurant. He meets drama series producer E som, but is hesitant to approach her again. Kim Joo helps him to chat with her. She in turn is working with screenwriter Lee Mi. Lee mi has been a catalyst in the rise of a popular actor played by Yoo Ah in. She wants him to work in her next project which he refuses. At a wedding, he comes across a young kid,Bom. He wonders if he is the father.
No surprises here. But I liked the pace. Each has been given equal time. The characters are very well developed. In a short time it manages to entertain.A must see.
Also saw ‘Twenty’ a teenage drama in the life of three friends. Star cast is solid. But that is all. Kim Woo bin, Lee Jun ho,Kang Ha- neul,Lee Yu bi, Jung So min,Min Hyo rin & the usuals. I have seen Kang Ha neul in Moon Lovers, When Camillie blooms ( In lead), Like for likes & twenty, where he is a confused youth. They look bigger than twenty & their actions are too much. The story has potential but the language is too rough.Normally I like teen dramas, not this one.’Hot for Teacher’ was also one of those that could have been made appropriately. To put forth bad, people lap it up, the school atmosphere allows an environment where young minds are moulded. Better things can be shown. I have come to a conclusion that the 13,15 dramas are ok. I cannot digest the 19 or above ones.
Looking forward to more meaningful drama . Happy viewing!
