A Korean drama with Shin Min-a,On Joo-wan,Yoo Gun, Ho bin Jeong & others. The story is about the clans,training & trick scenes. But the zing is absent. Maybe the delay caused in the release caused it but could have been better.
Kang so hwi is a college student & a martial artist with super human strength. but she wishes to be like any other normal girl & stops training.She falls for Jun mo ,who is after a police officer old enough to be his mother.(This was the first deterrent, we expect a girl of his age)She joins the ice hockey club to be close to him & to get his attention.
Meanwhile her father is concerned about her abilities weakening. He wants her to learn her mother’s magic sword powers. She refuses.Her father calls in his friend’s son Ilyoung, who is her childhood friend also.So -hwi rejects his attention But really likes that he is there beside her. Both of them save Jun mo from some goons in a street fight.
There is a sword called ‘Green Destiny’ that can do the moon stroke at night. So hwi ‘s mother was an expert at it. When in tenth grade , So-hwi & Ilyoung had attempted to steal the sword but So hwi had been injured & lost memories regarding it. Ilyoung is hypnotised by using the sword & tries to kill So hwi. She helps him in shaking off the spell.
It had all the elements to make it a hit but fails. Some comic scenes a;so have a potential but those opportunities are lost. When So-hwi is riding the bus & sees Jun mo riding, she asks the driver to follow the bike. The driver shouts that it is not a cab & he cannot do as she says. More such scenes could have certainly helped.
If possible give it a miss . Better viewing!
