Getting Min ho in the first frame & as Min ho was very refreshing. This short film has all in it, longing,pain, travel,chating & yes pets,who make it happen. Mr Brown, Minho’s dog & Ling Ling’s Stuffed toy help. The language barrier makes them converse in the messenger app Line. So that is how it all begins.
Ling ling, a Chinese tourist is to leave for China, when she meets Min ho. She asks for a photo, he assumes she is a fan & refuses. Then realises she wants her photo in the scenic background ! He obliges. As she plays with Mr Brown she drops her USB. Min ho races to the airport to return it & is convinced that is the sole reason. As he wants to wish ‘Happy journey’, he sends ‘I love you’.
It sets in all the chats & waits. Only three episodes complete the story. It is very sweet. When she doesn’t know him he is disappointed. With covering the face & a hoodie he feels he is disguised enough. But celebrities need this reality check. I wouldn’t go in more details here.
Another short one ‘Summer love’ the typical dilemma of not knowing how to express. Here also Min ho is Minho. He is with friends & is happy that Yoon is joining them. But she comes he complains why she is spoiling the fun of a boy’s gettogether. Next in the library brings in all books that she had not been able to reach. Such small things which matter & we are very negligent about.
He waits for her to join & has snacks & drinks ready. She had a perfect opportunity which she grabs, ‘Who would have thought the arrogant Min ho being so caring?’ I just loved it. He is too good so needs to have people around him talking like this so that his success doesn’t go to his head. His features have softened a lot after BOF, but his charisma remains the same!
Eagerly awaiting his new show on netflix, King: the eternal monarch , this month. Trailers promise that it would be interesting ! Nothing more to add. Signing off.
