A 2017 Melodrama that keeps you enthralled till the end. Featuring Chae so bin,Jang dong-yoon & Jin young. Two children are born on the same day, 7 May & live next to each other. They attend the same school. Their bonding is strong right from their childhood. Appearance of a new student disturbs the relationship. They drift apart & the story ends where there is still hope.
The unsaid words in a lifetime are a bother. The Seoul returned, slick city trotter is a step ahead when her friend is choosing the right words to express himself. They have never said but their bonding is there for all to see. Normally what is obvious for all is unclear to the concerned party. The attitude needs to be ,’Poochne mein kya harj hai?’
Jin young from ‘ Love in moonlight’ gets these supporting roles that have less footage & from the start his beloved is already having feelings for someone else. Park Bo gum being the prince & already there stood a better chance always. Yet Jin young is able to express his feelings to Kim yoo jung. Here he has a late entry but is able to shake up both of them. Why can’t he get a solid main role??
In ‘Mehandi rang layegi’ The pair are together but never express their feelings & Jeetendra ends up marrying Anita Raaj who likes him. Rekha keeps wondering how did this happen. It left behind a very uneasy feeling. Wish I could shake them up.
I had a hearty cry looking at three perfect people messing up their lives. Not all is fair in life but efforts need to be made. One wrong step can spiral down everything in life. Mona Singh’s “Chhotisi ego’ had a couple having a chance meet in a cafe. But only the ego prevents them to take a step back. She kept waiting for his call & he was waiting for her to turn & look back at him. What a waste!
Yesterday in ‘Un coupling’ they went a step further, Anu was introducing her divorced husband Dev to a new girl. They had come to the cafe where they had their first date & first fight. In the end she just glances back & leaves. I have no words. How can they remain good friends? An eternal bond we believe, when severed doesn’t it pain? Meeting & fixing , setting with another one.. no, I found that absolutely amazing!
